Hi, I'm Natalie.  I am an Equine Bodyworker and a Professional Classical Singer.  

 

I have my Doctorate of Musical Arts from The Eastman School of Music and taught classical voice for 23 years. While singing and teaching voice, I discovered a love for horses and met Mocha.  While I may have "bought" him, he "owned" me!  Mocha (and my riding instructor) led me to The Masterson Method® - a method of Equine Bodywork where the practitioner follows the signs from the horse to help them release tension, find better range of motion, and improve performance.  And the best thing of all?  When you start listening to your horse - they start talking to you!

I became certified in The Masterson Method® in July of 2021.  Since I was still teaching, I didn't have time for much more than that.  After I left teaching in 2024, I decided to further my education in Equine Bodywork. I attended courses in Equine Massage and Acupressure at the Northwest School of Animal Massage (NWSAM), and finally got both certifications through NBCAAM - Equine Massage in September 2025 and Equine Acupressure in July 2026.

I've also taken an Equine Temperament Typing course and a course on Neurovascular Release (NVR).  Both courses enhance understanding why the horse does what he/she does and allows me to meet their needs with a soft and caring touch.
